Leadership is Language: Blue Work & Jam Writing

One tool I love using to help me dig deep inside myself is jam writing. I initially found this tool to help me write better essays for tests.

The key to jam writing is the second sheet, using it to cover the sentence when I write down one line.

If I cannot see the sentence, I cannot edit the sentence.

That’s where the genius of jam writing comes in. The second sheet of paper covers all the sentences. I stay in the “blue work” mode, getting ideas and expanding inside me to find out what’s really going on.
