We're Moving to Hawai'i!!!

My wife and I moved to the United States in 2010 for her job. We were in the north east - the New York tri-state area.

Moving to the area was a dream come true. I grew up reading Spider-Man comics that reference NYC. I watched TV shows set in NYC.

We moved around in the area - from central New Jersey, to Manhattan, and then Connecticut.

We made certain decisions to stay in the area and then 2020 hit. The place where I would do work became our place and Our place felt pretty small.

By going all-in on remote work, we are also deciding to leave the New York tri-state area and moving to: Hawai’i!

Moving to Hawai’i is a dream of my wife and I for awhile and it was the long term goal. One thing we learned from 2020 is - “Why wait???”

Thank you New Jersey, Manhattan, and Connecticut for everything. I will always treasure those memories and who knows - maybe we’ll be back!
