Happy Birthday Dear Friend

It’s been a year since I last wished you happy birthday and that’s when everything went crazy.

I loved the times we had together and legacy you left behind.

I find it amazing that I thought of you recently and that day happens to be your birthday.

You may not be here physically, your presence is strong.

I have thought about you, not just the times we had together - the way you saw me. The fact that you saw beyond me - to see the highest version of me. The version of me that has infinite potential.

A friend like that is invaluable.

Even now, I am learning from you, even though we may be worlds apart.
