Meeting Minutes with AI

With the current market offerings for Artificial Intelligence that use Generative AI (GenAI), I found them invaluable as a tool for starting a business.

My favorite use of GenAI for business is creating meeting minutes and summaries from recordings.

In my career, I always struggled to get good meeting minutes and summaries - even for meetings I attend. The only time where I felt minutes were good are with a dedicated person taking meeting minutes.

As a small business, I don’t believe dedicating a resource to meeting minutes is not an effective use of people.

When I get the text of a meeting conversations, either by getting the transcript or transcribing from audio or video recordings, getting a tool like ChatGPT or Claude.ai to summarize the meeting into minutes and action items is mind-blowing.

I never have had such great meeting minutes with so little effort until now.

If you’re starting a business now, I implore you to utilize available AI tools on the market. It’s such a game changer.

At least you will have great meeting minutes.

For me, I cannot imagine business meetings without awesome meeting minutes anymore.
