Sleep Goal: Wind Down Routine

As I work on improving my sleep, there are some stumbling blocks along the way. Old habits are hard to change - especially if they are a part of me for a good 20 years.

One of these things creating a wind down routine.

Current wind down routine:

  1. Do whatever I want for 15 minutes after putting kids to bed
  2. Drink 12 oz of warm water
  3. Write three appreciations for the day
  4. Read aloud my Mission Statement
  5. Moon Salutation (Chadra Namaskar)
  6. Meditate for five minutes
  7. Read for five minutes
  8. ZZzz..

As I implement this, I’ll probably update or tweak it. I’ll explain each step in future posts.
