Sleep Goal: Wind Down Routine
As I work on improving my sleep, there are some stumbling blocks along the way. Old habits are hard to change - especially if they are a part of me for a good 20 years.
One of these things creating a wind down routine.
Current wind down routine:
- Do whatever I want for 15 minutes after putting kids to bed
- Drink 12 oz of warm water
- Write three appreciations for the day
- Read aloud my Mission Statement
- Moon Salutation (Chadra Namaskar)
- Meditate for five minutes
- Read for five minutes
- ZZzz..
As I implement this, I’ll probably update or tweak it. I’ll explain each step in future posts.
