Push Ups - from 60 to 100?
Growing up, the workout in my karate class was killer. More than half the time in class was on working out. My karate gi was sweat when I got home.
This provided a great foundation for my physique and I maintained it ever since.
One thing that eluded me is doing 100 push ups in a row. The karate workout always did 20 push ups in a row (which helped when my social studies teacher made me do push ups when I did something silly and they remarked: “Wow, you can really do push ups!”)
Going from 20 to 50 is not a problem, 50 to 80 is a stretch, and it hurt my shoulder the last time I did 80 in a row.
I stepped the number of push ups down and now I do 60 push ups in a row for my calesthetics workout.
Let’s see how I can get to 100 push ups in a row - because I never know if I’ll be in social studies class again, do something stupid, and the teacher asks me to do 100 push ups in a row…
