A Great Person and Valuable Mentor Spark

One thing I loved having you as a mentor was that you never made me feel “inferior” to you. You definitely knew more things than me and you always explained things to me in a collaborative way.

Because of this, I felt safe in sharing everything with you.

I share knowledge that I’m working on, you share your learnings and understanding in that space as well.

The recent conversations we had on Leadership is Language were great because you had the background (that you let me poke at more to reinforce my learning) and with my introduction from the book, I felt my understanding instantly became greater than what I read or ponder by myself.

At the same time, I saw and felt a spark in you on this topic. You formed new insights from me sharing.

Looking back, I remember a feeling where, I, the mentee is helping, you, the mentor work through big thoughts. Creating a spark in the mentor.

This feeling of the mentee helping their mentor is a wonderful feeling and I am forever grateful to have this feeling with such a valuable mentor.
