Red Green Repeat Adventures of a Spec Driven Junkie

A Great Person and Valuable Book

One thing I learned from you that I do not believe I would have found on my own easily:

David Deida's Way of the Superior Man David Deida’s Way of the Superior Man.

The information I learned from the book provided guidance for my life, especially relating to my relationships with my father and family in general.

Understanding the role of the male in the family - to succeed the father and in a way, natural for a son to leave the family explained to me why I took my own path in life instead of following my family’s advice.

On the converse, if it is natural for a son to leave the family, a daughter would stay with the family.

Understanding these dynamics clarified my understanding of relationships with my parent and my in-laws.

This knowledge extending beyond “culture” or customs help me navigate my own life as it’s atypical.
