Deadlines in Life
The most important (and best) things in life have deadlines.
Deadlines restrict time and a consequence, force you to prioritize.
Learn to set your own deadline and embrace it. When you dread deadlines, bad things happen. Another person sets the deadline for you, you will stress (probably because it forces you to think about it.)
When you embrace deadlines, good things can happen. You get things done on your own terms. You set the agenda.
So, by setting a deadline to do something, the deadline prioritizes it.
The next most important to setting a deadline: follow up.
Without follow up, deadlines are meaningless, no matter who sets the deadline.
Embrace deadlines and follow up.
